Panchayat is a comedy-drama, which captures the journey of an engineering graduate Abhishek, who for lack of a better job option joins as secretary of a panchayat office in a remote village of Uttar Pradesh. Stuck between crazy villagers and a difficult village lifestyle Abhishek starts his job with the sole motivation of getting out of there as soon as possible, for which he even prepares for CAT.
2020: Panchayat Season 1: The first season introduces Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who reluctantly takes up the job of Panchayat Secretary in the remote village of Phulera due to a lack of better employment opportunities. The season focuses on his initial struggles to adapt to rural life and the comedic challenges he faces.
2022: Panchayat Season 2: The second season continues Abhishek’s journey as he becomes more comfortable and invested in village life. The season delves deeper into the lives of the villagers and the dynamics within the Panchayat office.
