Police Academy (1984): The mayor opens the doors to the police academy to a group of new recruits, regardless of their physical fitness, gender, or background. Among the diverse group are troublemaker Carey Mahoney, sound-effects whiz Larvell Jones, and gun-crazy Tackleberry. As they navigate their way through training, the misfit group of cadets faces challenges from within the academy and learns to become a cohesive unit.

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment (1985): The newly graduated misfit cops from the first film are assigned to one of the city’s most crime-ridden precincts. Led by Mahoney, they must tackle a gang led by Zed, a violent yet comedic criminal, and bring order to the streets. Their unorthodox methods and quirky personalities lead to a series of comedic situations and ultimately success in their mission.

Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986): Due to budget cuts, the police force decides to close down one of the two police academies. Commandant Lassard’s academy competes against Commandant Mauser’s academy to avoid being shut down. The original misfit graduates return to Lassard’s academy as instructors, training a new batch of eccentric recruits. Their unconventional tactics are once again put to the test in a competition to save their academy.

Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987): Commandant Lassard introduces a new program, Citizens on Patrol (COP), aimed at involving civilians in police work to help combat crime. The original gang of officers, including Mahoney and Jones, help train the enthusiastic but inept volunteers. The program faces resistance from Captain Harris, but the citizens and officers work together to thwart a gang of criminals, proving the program’s success.

Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach (1988): Commandant Lassard is set to retire and is honored at a police convention in Miami Beach. He inadvertently takes a suitcase full of stolen diamonds, making him a target for a group of jewel thieves. The bumbling officers, including Mahoney and Hightower, must protect Lassard and capture the criminals while enjoying the sunny backdrop of Miami Beach.

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989): The city is plagued by a wave of crimes orchestrated by a mysterious mastermind known as the “Mastermind.” The Police Academy graduates, led by Commandant Lassard, are called upon to stop the crime spree. With the help of a new, eager cadet, they use their unconventional methods to uncover the identity of the Mastermind and bring the criminals to justice.

Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994): Commandant Lassard and a select group of officers, including Jones and Tackleberry, are sent to Moscow to help the Russian police combat the Russian mafia. They face cultural misunderstandings and challenges as they team up with their Russian counterparts to stop a crime lord who is using a video game to launder money. Their antics and unconventional techniques lead to a successful mission and international camaraderie.
